Visitors and members are welcome to fish Carsfad from the West bank only.
Day tickets can be purchased prior to fishing from Wright's shop.
The River Ken can be fished by visitors and members.
Fishing from the west bank extends from just downstream of Earlstoun Power Station to the Coum Burn.
Fishing from the east bank extends from the suspension bridge down to Boatknowe.
The east bank from the Boatknowe March Fence down to the Garple Burn is shared with the New Galloway Angling Association.
Boat only fishing at Earlstoun is available to Association members.
The DAA has two good sized boats kept in the boathouse. Boats may be reserved and keys collected from the Wright's shop in the village. Electric motors, batteries and buoyancy aids (must be worn) can be collected from storage at Dalry Town Hall.
We operate a ticket exchange partnership with Dalbeattie Angling Association. Two Day tickets are available for members and can be requested at Wright's Shop in the village. Ticket holders can fish both Buittle Reservoir and River Urr.
